    My PhD is in the Academic Study of Religion - the languages, practices, and ideologies of particular religions in particular places in particular time.

    Currently I am a lecturer in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Recently, in the Summer of 2009, I taught Religion and Psychology. Currently, in Spring Semester 2010, I am teaching Religion and Science, based on my syllabus-for-relst102-601 2010A .

    My dissertation in its full and stuffy title, with link to the pdf files of sections, is Martha Shamoni: A Jewish Syriac Rhymed Liturgical Poem about the Maccabean Martyrdoms (Sixth Maccabees). The short title is Sixth Maccabees.
